pentru ratificarea Cartei sociale europene revizuite, adoptată la Strasbourg la 3 mai 1996

Publicat în MONITORUL OFICIAL nr. 193 din 4 mai 1999

Parlamentul României adopta prezenta lege.

Articolul 1

Se ratifica Carta socială europeană revizuită, adoptată la Strasbourg la 3 mai 1996.

Ratificarea Cartei sociale europene revizuite se face cu declaraţiile prevăzute la art. 2 şi 3 din prezenta lege.

Articolul 2

În conformitate cu prevederile art. A paragraful 1 din partea a III-a a Cartei sociale europene revizuite, România accepta partea I din prezenta carta ca o declaraţie care determina obiectivele a căror realizare o va urmări prin toate mijloacele utile şi se considera legată prin prevederile art. 1, art. 4-9, art. 11, 12, 16, 17, 20, 21, 24, 25, 28 şi 29, precum şi, suplimentar, de prevederile art. 2 paragrafele 1, 2, 4-7, art. 3 paragrafele 1-3, art. 13 paragrafele 1-3, art. 15 paragrafele 1 şi 2, art. 18 paragrafele 3 şi 4, art. 19 paragrafele 7 şi 8 şi art. 27 paragraful 2.

Articolul 3

România declara ca accepta ca aplicarea angajamentelor juridice conţinute în Carta socială europeană revizuită să fie supusă mecanismului de control prevăzut în partea a IV-a a Cartei sociale europene, adoptată la Torino la 18 octombrie 1961.

Articolul 4

Instituţiile prevăzute în anexa la prezenta lege vor elabora şi vor supune spre aprobare autorităţilor publice competente, în termen de un an de la publicarea prezentei legi în Monitorul Oficial al României, măsurile necesare în vederea transpunerii efective în practica a dispoziţiilor Cartei sociale europene revizuite.

Această lege a fost adoptată de Camera Deputaţilor în şedinţa din 19 aprilie 1999, cu respectarea prevederilor art. 74 alin. (1) din Constituţia României.
