Având în vedere prevederile art. 5 alin. (1) şi ale art. 6 alin. (1) din Legea protecţiei muncii nr. 90/1996, republicată,

în temeiul art. 7 şi al art. 14 lit. D pct. 2 din Hotărârea Guvernului nr. 4/2001 privind organizarea şi funcţionarea Ministerului Muncii şi Solidarităţii Sociale, cu modificările ulterioare, şi ale art. 3 pct. 28 din Hotărârea Guvernului nr. 22/2001 privind organizarea şi funcţionarea Ministerului Sănătăţii şi Familiei, cu modificările ulterioare,

vazand Referatul comun de aprobare nr. 1.882 din 3 octombrie 2002 al Direcţiei securităţii şi sănătăţii în munca din cadrul Ministerului Muncii şi Solidarităţii Sociale şi nr. DB 11.602 din 21 octombrie 2002 al Direcţiei generale de sănătate publică din cadrul Ministerului Sănătăţii şi Familiei,

ministrul muncii şi solidarităţii sociale şi ministrul sănătăţii şi familiei emit următorul ordin:

Articolul 1

Se aprobă Normele generale de protecţie a muncii, prevăzute în anexa care face parte integrantă din prezentul ordin.

Articolul 2

Normele prevăzute la art. 1 intră în vigoare de la data publicării prezentului ordin în Monitorul Oficial al României, Partea I.

Începând cu aceeaşi dată se abroga: Normele generale de protecţie a muncii, aprobate prin Ordinul ministrului muncii şi protecţiei sociale şi al ministrului sănătăţii nr. 578/DB 5.840/1996, publicat în Monitorul Oficial al României, Partea I, nr. 344 din 16 decembrie 1996; Ordinul ministrului sănătăţii nr. 1.957/1995 privind aprobarea Normelor de medicina muncii, publicat în Monitorul Oficial al României, Partea I, nr. 60 bis din 26 martie 1996; Ordinul ministrului sănătăţii şi familiei nr. 761/2001 pentru aprobarea Metodologiei privind examenul medical la angajarea în munca, examenul medical de adaptare, controlul medical periodic şi examenul medical la reluarea muncii, publicat în Monitorul Oficial al României, Partea I, nr. 836 din 27 decembrie 2001; Ordinul ministrului sănătăţii şi familiei nr. 615/2001 privind organizarea serviciilor de medicina muncii, publicat în Monitorul Oficial al României, Partea I, nr. 622 din 3 octombrie 2001.

Articolul 3

Normele generale de protecţie a muncii sunt obligatorii pentru toate activităţile din economia naţionala şi se difuzează celor interesaţi prin Institutul Naţional de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Protecţia Muncii I.N.C.D.P.M. Bucureşti.
